May 26-28. Lake Palourde, Hwy. 70

Eastern Divisional Championships. Races will take place on Lake Palourde with viewing areas along the bank of the lake on Highway 70. Live music and refreshments will add to the festive atmosphere.

Louisiana Shrimp & Petroleum Festival
August 30-31 & Sep 1-3. Downtown Morgan City

Louisiana's oldest state-chartered harvest festival takes place during Labor Day weekend in a five-day extravaganza of family entertainment. Continuous live music by local and national acts, a huge arts & crafts show and sale, Children's Village, Cajun Culinary Classic, traditional Blessing of the Fleet and water parade, food and so much more! No gate fee!
